		<description>I have the same problem here: fedora 14, x64. I do not believe the reason for this is a slow graphic device or a slow computer. I have 8GB Ram and a fast ATI graphic card, i5core intel processor... 

It is somewhere in the settings I guess.. but I havn&#039;t found out yet where...</description>

		<description>I had the same problem under Ubuntu 10.10. (not Mint). Here compositing can be turned off by running gconf-editor, then Apps-&gt;Metacity-&gt;General-&gt;compositing_manager. It solved the problem for me, too.
